Community Projects

Community first. Always.

The Byron Hobo started with one simple idea: the best version of Byron isn't a postcard. It's people looking out for each other. The tees are the fun part, but the community is the point. Shirts fund the vibe; community keeps it alive.

Here's what we're working towards. We're a small label, so we're starting small and doing it properly.

Looking after our beaches

We'd love to get the crew together for regular beach clean-ups: an early start, a bag each, a swim and a coffee after. Join the crew and we'll let you know when the first one's on.

Backing local makers and causes

Byron's full of people making good things. We plan to shout out local makers, cafes and small businesses, and to put part of each edition back into a local cause. We'll share the details here once it's locked in.

Locals in the crew

Our tees are worn by real people, not models. We want to feature the locals who make this place what it is: surfers, market stallholders, early-morning walkers, your nan. Want to be in a future shoot or story? Let us know.

Got an idea? Pitch us a project.

Running a clean-up, a fundraiser, a footy club or a community garden and reckon we could help out? Or got an idea we haven't thought of? We're all ears. Big or small, if it brings Byron together, we want to hear about it.

Pitch us a project

Nothing here is set in stone. As projects happen, we'll post them here with photos, honest updates and who was involved.
